“Forget your perfect offering, there is a crack in everything that’s how the light gets in.” Leonard Cohen
My 24th Birthday with some of my beautiful best friends and family. Was my idea of a perfect evening: delicious food, amazing sunset, fun conversation, lots of love in the air and lots of drinks and dancing later at the local. I am so blessed! Thank you to Mum for putting on the feast and for having us, you are amazing. And thank you to my friends and family for a beautiful night. xoxo
BN done, I am now a Registered Nurse
After things taking a turn for the unexpected this year; having to do an extra placement to pass successfully and Perth plans falling to the wayside, along with the disappointment I had a rush of excitement that I would most likely be staying in Melbourne, with all my beautiful friends and family members’ faces popping into my minds eye I was/ am thrilled that I will be able to have more time to share life with them.
Now all is complete, and that I am exactly 10 days into being an RN, all I feel like doing is travelling, creating, reading, dancing, being absolutely free. After so much structure and intense placements in December/ January I guess this is only natural.
Sometimes I wish I didn’t have such cravings for adventure and new horizons, it would make life a whole lot less complicated, however boring!
I cannot wait to see where I end up. In my dreams I would love to travel for 2 months (hello loan), return in April for my graduation and to get a mid year Graduate position at a hospital that already incorporates Integrative Medicine. hmmmm Dreams do come true, I hope mine does.. better get cracking.
xx CW
